北海道清水町の 「清水小学校」「御影小学校」と台湾台中市清水區の「清水國小」との国際交流が開催されました。

「北海道で初めての交流」

今回の交流は、同じ町名、同じ名前の小学校という縁で始まりました。
スプラタルカの北海道支部としては、初めての交流を取り持つこととなりましたが、大きなトラブルも無く無事に交流することができました。

「北海道清水町立 清水小学校・御影小学校」

事前に清水町と学校の紹介ビデオを作成し、台湾の生徒に見てもらいました。
交流ではKahootを使用し、クイズ形式で自分の地域の紹介をしました。

「台中市清水區 清水國民小學」

ダンスパフォーマンス、学校紹介、自己紹介、楽器演奏をしました。

「質問タイム」

双方から活発に質問がされ、お互いのことをもっと知りたいという気持ちが伝わってきました。

「メディアの取材」

清水小学校のオンライン国際交流は北海道で初めてということもあり、交流前にも北海道新聞に掲載され、当日も北海道新聞、十勝毎日新聞の2社の取材があり、双方とも掲載されました。
また、台湾側でもメディアの取材があり、インタビューを関係者、生徒とも受けました。

11月21日（日）に「中学生 国際会議」の事前研修を行いました。
今回は、北海道、神奈川、沖縄の中学生が参加してくれています。
今日は、都合がつかなかったメンバーが多く、2名のみの参加となりました。（残りのメンバーは27日に事前研修を行う予定です。）

　今回のテーマは、「あなたは、どのような人になりたいですか？　それはどうして？」ですが、将来の目標について、なかなか楽しみな言葉が出ていたので本番が楽しみです。他国の子ども達にも分かりやすいように写真などを活用することを提案しました。

We held a preparation meeting for "Global Communication for Junior High school Students" on November 21st.
Students from Hokkaido, Kanagawa and Okinawa will join. Today just 2 students joined because the rest of students were busy.

We discussed and shared ideas and opinions according to the theme "What do you want to become in the future? and Why?".

7月23日（金）に「2021年 高校生国際会議」を無事開催しました。

　日本、シンガポール、台湾の3カ国の高校生がスクリーンに一堂に会し、テーマに沿ってお互いの意見を交換しました。

テーマ：「『地球にいいこと』について、具体案を提案する」

The theme was “Propose a plan which is good for the earth.”

今回、日本側は全国から参加者を募集しました。結果として、沖縄・福岡・兵庫の高校生が参加してくれました。

＜『地球にいいこと』についての提案＞　Proposal which is good for the earth

　日本側は、プラスチックごみの再利用について提案しました。特に、再利用プラスチックで作った名刺を活用した再利用の仕組みについて提案しました。

Q：日本ではプラスチックの名刺は一般的ですか？
A：紙の名刺が一般的です。（台湾も）

Q：再生紙の名刺もあるはずなのに、どうして再生プラスチックの名刺なんですか？
A：みんなプラスチックごみの問題に興味があったから、再生プラスチックの名刺に絞って提案しました。

Q：我々が再生プラスチックの名刺を作ることは難しいでしょうから、我々自身が出来ることはどんなことが考えられますか？
A：例えば、このようなプロジェクトを自分たちが提案して、国などに支援してもらうことが考えられます。

We propsed a solution of plastic garbage problem. It is a solution system using recycled plastic business cards.

Q: Is it popular using plastic business cards in Japan?
A: Paper business cards are popular in Japan. (Taiwan too.)

Q: There are various types of recycled business cards. Then why you chose recycled plastic business cards?
A: Because most of us are interested in plastic issue. That's why we focused on recycled plastic business cards.

Q: It seems to be difficult for us to produce recycled plastic business cards by ourselves. Then what do you think we can do by ourselves for this issue?
A: We may propose this kind of project, and get support by government or companies.

シンガポール側は、生物の多様性について、国や学校における取組の紹介があった。例えば、国全体の目標として、10年間に100万本の木を植えることなど。また、例えば生徒の中から「Green Ambassador（緑の大使）」を選んで活動を推進していることなど。

Q：木が育つには時間がかかると思うので、身近なところでどのようなことが考えられますか？
A：エコバッグを使ったり、自家用車じゃなくてバスや自転車を使ったりすることが考えられます。
台湾：台湾には、「木を植える日」があります。

Singapore side introduced Biodiversity projects in Singapore and schools.For example "ONE MILLION TREES MOVEMENT" is a nationwide effort to plant one million trees in 10 years. Also they have "Green Ambassadors" to promote biodiversity projects at school.

Q: It takes time to let trees grow.Then what do you think we can do in daily life?
A: We can use eco-friendly bags or we can use public transportation or bicycles instead of family cars.
Taiwan: we have "Plant trees day" in Taiwan.

台湾も、プラスチックごみの削減について紹介があった。
日常の中に取り入れることが重要です。例えば、エコバッグやマイストローやマイおはしを利用する。（台湾でよく飲まれるタピオカミルクティーなどで利用できる。）

Q：プラスチックの買い物袋はいくらしますか？
A：日本と同じくらいです。

Q：食べ物とかで、中身だけを買って詰め替える方式のお店とかありますか？
A：少しはある。　日本：少しはある。

Q：ガラスのストローは危なくないんですか？
A：大丈夫です。

Taiwan side also introduced solutions to plastic garbage problems.
They said we should make it as our habit and life style to use eco-friendly gadgets, for example we can use eco bags or "my straw", "my chop sticks".

Q: How much is a plastic bag when we use at a store?
A: It is almost the same price as in Japan.

Q: Are there stores selling items with refilling system?
A: There are some.  Japan: There are some also.

Q: Is glass straw not dangerous?
A: Not really.

 会議中、これ以外にもいろいろな意見がありました。
There are more comments during discussion.

テーマに沿った会議ののち、もっと気軽にお互い自由に質問する時間を設けました。

例えば、「オリンピックで楽しみにしている競技は何ですか？」「夜の時間はどう過ごしているのですか？　（台湾にはナイトマーケットがあります。）」「授業は何時間あるのですか？」
などなど。

We had "Free question time" after serious discussion.

They exchanged varous questions like "What is your favorite sport during Olympic games?" "How do you spend time during night time?" (In Taiwan, we have Night Markets.) "How long do you study at school?" etc.

　いつものように、話は尽きず、時間が足りないということになりますが、今回はこれで終了です。

　日本側としては、「なぜ名刺にこだわったのか」というところが、ちゃんと伝わっていなかったように思えるので、そこが残念です。名刺は、社会人同士がはじめてあいさつする際に必ず交換するもので、会話のきっかけにもなり、自分や所属する組織の紹介にもなります。その意味で、プラスチックごみ問題に関する非常にいい情報提供手段と考えたわけです。

　また、資源の再利用という意味で、バナナペーパーを使った名刺やサトウキビの搾りかすを再利用した名刺など、名刺という形でいろいろの可能性があることも事前研修の中で出ていたので、そこまで紹介しておきたかったところです。

　今回は、お互い「地球にいいことについて」提案することになっていたので、準備に時間がかかりました。その分、地球環境について考える良い機会になったことを期待します。

It is always true that there is not enough time to communicate to each other during a conference.

As for Japan side, it seems that we couldn't present very well why we focused on business cards this time. Business card is the first item we exchange when we meet a business person at the first time. At that time we introduce myself and my company with the business card. Then it is a very good chance to introduce plastic recycle topics such as how we or our company is involved.

Also we were discussing potential of recycled business cards which can be made of various kind of recycled materials during prepation meetings. It could be made of banana paper, sugarcane bagasse, etc.

It took long time to prepare their proposals because the theme "Propose a plan which is good for the earth" is tough.
We hope it helps them to think more about our earth and act for the earth.

7月18日（日）に「高校生 国際会議」の第2回事前研修を行いました。
兵庫、福岡、沖縄の高校生が参加してくれています。

今回はテーマが大きいので、準備にも時間がかかるだろうと思っていましたが、やはり大変です。
研修で終わり切れなかったので、全体の内容を確認したうえで、ページごとに担当を割り振って協同作業で提案資料を作成しています。Google Slide というツールに馴染んでないので手間がかかっていますが、慣れればオンラインで同時進行で作業できるので便利な道具です。

「地球にいいこと」について、日本側としていい提案が出来そうです。
本会議が楽しみです。

We held the 2nd preparation meeting for "International Conference for High school Students" on July 18th.
Students from Hyogo, Fukuoka and Okinawa joined.

The theme "Propose a plan which is good for the earth." is not an easy issue at all. Actually we couldn't complete the proposal document, and now we are working together on Google Slide to complete it.

Our proposal is getting better and better.
We are looking forward to joining the conference on July 23rd.

7月11日（日）に「高校生 国際会議」の事前研修を行いました。
今回は、兵庫、福岡、沖縄の高校生が参加してくれています。

今回はテーマが大きいので、準備にも時間がかかるだろうということで、2回の事前研修を予定しています。
今回は、各自のアイデアをもとに、全体としてまとめていくことが一番の目標でした。
「『地球にいいこと』について、具体案を提案する」というテーマに沿って、各自のアイデアを共有したうえで、まとめられないものは選択し、まとめることが出来るものはまとめて、なかなかいい感じのものになったと思います。本会議が楽しみです。

We held a 1st preparation meeting for "International Conference for High school Students" on July 11th.
Students from Hyogo, Fukuoka and Okinawa joined.

The theme "Propose a plan which is good for the earth." is not an easy issue at all. Then we keep preparation meetings two times.
It was a very good meeting.We shared individual ideas first and discussed according to the theme.
Finally we could find a certain conclusion as the "Proposal from Japan".
We are looking forward to joining the conference on July 23rd.

6月23日に、各国の「高校生国際会議」担当者による打合せを行いました。

今回、初めてGoogle Meet を使うこともあり、システムの動作確認や、会議全般について話し合いました。

シンガポールも台湾もオンライン授業のようで、本当にどの国も大変なようです。

お互い「地球にいいこと」について、いい計画を提案できるよう準備を進めることを確認したところです。

We had a staff meeting of "International Conference for High School Students" on June 23. (Japan, Singapore, Taiwan)

This is the first time to use Google Meet for a conference event, then we checked together how it works. Also we discussed details of the conference.

Students are studying online from homes in Singapore and Taiwan. Life is really serious in most countries.

We are expecting interesting plans which is good for the earth at the conference.

　日本、シンガポール、タイの3カ国の小学生がスクリーンに一堂に会し、テーマに沿ってお互いの意見を交換しました。

今回、日本側は初めて全国から参加者を募集しました。結果として、沖縄・兵庫・神奈川・北海道の小学生が参加してくれました。

初めにお互いの学校を紹介しました。日本側は、沖縄と北海道の小学校の様子を紹介しました。

Firstly, we introduce our schools. We started from Japan side. As for Japan side, students join from different areas. Then we introduced schools in Okinawa and Hokkaido.

＜持ち物紹介＞  "Introduction of school items"

その後、みんなで一斉に「持ち物紹介」をしました。学校で日ごろ使っているものや自分の作品を紹介します。
これは文化紹介を兼ねたものです。これまでは、お互いの伝統的な遊びなどを紹介しあっていたのですが、自宅からの参加なのでそれが出来ません。そこで、このようなかたちとなりました。
それぞれの国の教科書や授業で制作したもの、楽器、筆入れ、お気に入りのものなど、いろいろ興味深いものを紹介してくれました。

Then we moved to "Introduction of school items". Students showed school items they normally use at school.
This topic includes cultural exchange.
They introduced their textbooks, products during lessons, musical instruments, pen case, ...

＜会議　「新型コロナウィルスの危機を経験して、あなたは何を思いましたか？」＞
              “What did you realize through experiencing the threat of Coronavirus?”

テーマについては、事前にワークシートに準備してもらい、会議中は手を挙げて自分の意見や考えを発表してもらいました。発表は自分の言葉でも英語でも構いません。必要であれば通訳します。
We asked everyone to fill the worksheet to answer the question in advance. We asked students to raise their hands to express their own opinions. They can express with their language. We translate into English if needed.

みんな積極的に発言してくれました。
They were very active to express their opinions.

＜自由質問＞  "Fee questions"

最後に、お互い自由に質問をします。好きなアニメや漫画、映画など、何でも自由に聞きあいます。

今回は、「鬼滅の刃」の話題で盛り上がりました。海外でも既に人気です。
After the main theme, we had "Free question" time. Students can ask any questions to each other.
Anime is very popular for students in many countries. Now "Demon Slayer"（「鬼滅の刃」）is popular.

今回初めて日本全国から募集を行いました。
コロナ禍で会場に集まって開催することは出来ませんが、逆に自宅からの参加となるので場所を越えて参加できる大きな利点もあることがはっきりしました。

今後は、それぞれの利点を活かしながら、会場で行う方法と自宅から参加する方法共に活用していきたいと思います。

This is the first time we invited students from all over Japan.
It is still difficult to organize an activity to gather all students at one place, but there are some alternative merits to organize activities joining from homes.
We will continue organizing activities together with these 2 types according to cases.

3月21日（日）に「小学生 国際会議」の事前研修を行いました。
北海道、神奈川、沖縄から参加してくれました。
現在、まだ4名しか集まっていませんが、みんな積極的で、準備は問題なしです。
コロナ禍のなか、それぞれの意見も確認できました。
本番が楽しみです。

今回のテーマは、「コロナ後の世界に向けて」（「After the threat of Corona virus」）です。
具体的には、次の２つの質問
　「新型コロナウィルスの脅威が去ったのち、自分にとって何が必要だと思いますか？」
　「新型コロナウィルスの脅威が去ったのち、社会に必要なものは何だと思いますか？」
を通して、議論を進めました。

Students from 3 countries (Japan, Malysia, Thailand) gathered on a screen and discussed together.

The theme was “After the threat of Corona virus”
　　　　　        　What do you think you need for yourself after the threat of Corona virus?
　　　　　        　What do you think we need for our society after the threat of Corona virus?

　今回も、各家庭からビデオ通話を使って参加する形をとりました。
　ただ日本側は、家庭のインターネット環境に不安があるところと、また学校に集まって参加したいということになったので、学校で各教室に分かれて、二人一組で参加することにしました。
　ところが、いざ学校の端末でビデオ通話を始めようとしたところ、つながりません。数日前の通信試験で問題なかったので安心していたのですが、どうやら学校のセキュリティの問題のようです。そこで、急遽パソコン教室を使って参加することになりました。ヒヤヒヤものでした！　（会議が遅れてもうしわけありません。）
　マレーシア側はしっかり準備してくれたみたいで、特に問題ないようでした。タイは、トラブルがあったのか、だいぶ遅れての参加となりました。

We orginazed the meeting which students participate individually from home.
But students (Japan side) wanted to come to school to see each other, then we shared students in different classes and joined the conference separately. Unfortunately it didn't work on that day, probably because the school security system. We did connection test in advance and it was OK. Finally we gatherd to Computer Room and joined the conference together.
Malaysia side seemed to be alright. Thai side had some kind of trouble and couldn't join fully.

会議のはじまりは、やはり緊張します。

最初に、お互いの学校の紹介をしました。

テーマに沿って、自由に意見交換をします。

タイ側が、トラブルで参加が遅れてしまいました。

会議も無事終了。

今回うんな中学校から参加の11名です。

11月14日（土）に「2020年 中学生国際会議」の事前研修を開催しました。

We held a preparation meeting for "International Conference for Junior High School Students" on November 14th.

今回の参加者は11名となりました。

今回はうんな中学校の生徒のみなので、学校に集合して研修を行いました。

自己紹介、相手校や地域の紹介、テーマについての自分の意見の発表、うんな中学校の紹介資料の作成、などを行いました。

We did "Self introduction", "Introduction of participating schools", "Sharing opinions according to the theme", "Making documents to introduce Unna JHS".

9月6日（日）に「2020年 高校生国際会議」を無事開催しました。

　日本（沖縄県）、シンガポール、スリランカ、フィリピンの4カ国の高校生がスクリーンに一堂に会し、テーマに沿ってお互いの意見を交換しました。

今回のテーマは、「世界の平和に向けて」（「Towards World Peace」）です。
具体的には、次の２つの質問
　「新型コロナウィルスの脅威を経験して、改めて、なぜ世界の平和が必要なのか？」
　「新型コロナウィルスが去ったのち、どうやって世界の平和を進めたらいいのか？」
を通して、議論を進めました。

今回も前回と同様、各家庭からビデオ通話を使って参加する形をとりました。
インターネット回線の問題で、つながりにくかったり、音が聞き取りにくかったりする家庭もありましたが、参加者全員が本当に活発に意見を述べてくれました。

Students from 4 countries (Japan, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Philippines) gathered on a screen and discussed together.

The theme was “Towards World Peace”
　　　　　        　Through experiences of the threat of Corona virus, why do you think we need world peace?
　　　　　        　How do we develop world peace after the threat of Corona virus?

We orginazed a meeting where students participate individually from home.
It is valuable to share ideas under the threat of Coronavirus, because this crisis is really global.

They were exchanging ideas and opinions how we can develop world peace together quite actively.

最初は、さすがに緊張気味のようでした。
They were a little bit nervous at the begining.

日本（沖縄）の現状を紹介しています。（コロナ前と現在）
Each side introduced their current situation under the threat of Corona virus.

4か国それぞれから、活発な意見が出ました。
Each side was quite active expressing their ideas and opinions.

それぞれのテーマについて、手を挙げてもらい、こちらで指名します。画面に全員が登場しているので、見分けるのが大変です。
It was actually difficult to find students who are ready to express their ideas, because of many small windows.

会議ののち、そのまままとめの会も行いました。全員に感想を述べてもらいました。みんな、参加して大変良かったということで、一安心です。

 After the conference, we held a summary all together to collect their impressions for today. They seemed to be very happy to have joined today's conference.

8月30日（日）に「2020年 高校生国際会議」の事前研修を開催しました。

We held a preparation meeting for "International Conference for High School Students" on August 30th.

　今回は、女子6名となりました。（基本的に女子中心になってしまいます。＾＾）

　コロナ下の状況なので、今回も自宅からの参加となります。他の国（シンガポール、スリランカ、フィリピン）も同様です。

　今回のテーマは、「世界の平和」という大きなテーマなので、なかなか大変だと思っていますが、みんなちゃんと考えてきてくれて、それぞれが意見を発表してくれました。さすが自ら参加してくれたメンバーです。

　9月6日（日）の当日が楽しみです。

There are 6 students who participate the conference. (They are all girls.)

This time, the theme is "Towards World Peace" which is actually a big theme, but they all prepared well and gave us interesting opinions.

We are looking forward to opening the conference on September 6th.

「2020年 高校生井戸端会議」の記事が沖縄タイムスに掲載されました。

A report of “Youth Gathering of High School Students 2020” was published in Okinawa Times.

5月17日（日）に「2020年 高校生井戸端会議」を無事開催しました。

　日本（沖縄県）、マレーシア（ペナン）、タイ（ランパン）の3カ国の高校生がスクリーンに一堂に会し、テーマに沿ってお互いの意見を交換しました。

今回のテーマは、「今の暮らしの様子を教えて」です。

　今回、初めて、各家庭からビデオ通話を使って参加する形をとりました。もちろん、新型コロナウィルス対策です。
　各家庭から個別に参加するとなると、画面構成やネットワークの状態など、いろいろ新しい環境となるので、うまく行くかどうか不安もありましたが、無事成功したと言えそうです。

　今回のテーマは、まさに新型コロナウィルスに関するもので、この問題は、日本に限らず地球規模の問題なので、それぞれの国の状況を伝えあうだけでも価値あることと思い、企画しました。
　よって、細かなテーマは設けず、お互いの国の状況、学校の状況、生活ぶりを、やり取りしながら紹介しあう形式としました。

We've held "Youth Gathering of High School Students 2020" on May 17th successfully.

Students from 3 countries (Japan, Malaysia, Thailand) gathered on a screen and discussed together.

The theme was “How Is Your Life Under This Situation?”

We orginazed a meeting where students participate individually from home for the first time.
It is valuable to share information how we are living under the threat of Coronavirus, because this crisis is really global.

They exchanged infromation of their daily lives, and were asking questions each other to learn more about things.

今回は、各画面の総数を考えて、各国5名の高校生に参加をお願いしました。加えて、それぞれの学校の先生方に通訳も兼ねて参加願いました。また、取材のため新聞記者にも参加していただきました。総数26名（画面）となります。

映像に大きな乱れはなく、ビデオ通話が止まることもなく、ほぼ順調に会議を進行することができました。

　質問や意見を取るため挙手をお願いすると、映像の微妙な遅れや多数の画面のため、誰が手を挙げているのかを見つけるのは大変でした。
　全員が同じ画面上に登場し、同じ音を聞いているので、通訳も各国同時進行というわけにはいかず、順番に通訳する必要があるなど、これまでの会場からの中継方式とは勝手が違います。
　それでも、みんな活発に自分たちの状況を紹介しあい、また相手の様子について質問をしていました。

　初めに、各国の状況を代表者が順番に紹介していきました。
　日本からは、今ちょうど規制を緩めようとしているところであること。また自分が受験生なので、勉強する時間は十分とれていること。家族と一緒にいれること。将来への不安。などを紹介しました。
　マレーシアからは、新型コロナウィルスの感染の経緯などが紹介されました。大きな集団感染がクアラルンプールのモスクの集団礼拝で起こったこと。その後ロックダウンがあり、違反者には罰金や収監などの厳しい措置が取られたこと。などの説明がありました。
　タイからは、夜間の外出制限などの説明がありました。夜間10から朝の4時まで外出が禁止されていて、違反すると罰金がかされること。また、集団感染対策のため、お酒の販売を禁止していること。などの説明がありました。

　各説明の後、他の国から自由に質問をとるなどして、活発なやりとりがありました。「罰金はいくらくらいですか？」「休みが長いと、受験に影響はないですか？」「今年のラマダンは、いつものラマダンと違いますか？」（現在ラマダン期間中）「ショッピングセンターは開いていますか？　（タイは一部が開いている）」・・・などなどたくさんのやり取りがありました。

　最後に、参加者全員が順番に今日の感想を述べました。
　いつもはここで回線を切り、日本側だけで会場内で行いますが、今回は全員がオンラインなので、このような形となったわけです。逆に、おかげで他の国の参加者の感想を聞けたことは大きな収穫ともなりました。

　今回、初めて全員がオンラインで参加する形式の国際会議を開いたわけですが、結果としては十分な成果だったといえます。また、大きな可能性も感じました。個人が家庭から参加できることで、時差の問題や会場の制限を受けない。よって、地球の裏側も含めて、本当に世界中の子供たちをつなげる具体的手段となります。
　進行や通訳に手間取ることや、各家庭のインターネット環境・情報機器環境に依存するなどの問題はありますが、それ以上の可能性があることが分かったわけです。
　今回の経験を活かし、これから定期的に開催する方向で準備を進めたいと思います。

5月10日（日）に「2020年 高校生井戸端会議」の事前研修を開催しました。

We held a preparation meeting for "Youth Gathering of High School Students" on May 10th.

今回は、新型コロナウィルスの影響で、会場で集まって会議を開くことができません。そこで、自宅からの会議を開催することにしました。

「井戸端会議」という形式で、あまり堅苦しくなく、それぞれの日常を紹介しあう形とします。

事前研修では、Zoomの操作の確認やどういうことを発表するかなどを話し合いました。

3か国からそれぞれ5名の高校生で会議を行います。

本番が楽しみです。

We hold a preparation meeting on 10th. We practiced how to use Zoom softwear, and also we dicsussed the contents for the main event on 17th.

11月2日（土）・3日（日）にJICA沖縄で開催された「おきなわ国際協力・交流フェスティバル」に、スプラタルカとして初めて出展しました。
会場での資料展示と共に、ビデオ通話を使った世界とのコミュニケーションイベントも開催出来ました。

We exhibited at "Okinawa Global Festa 2019" by JICA Okinawa on November 2-3.
We exhibited reports and photos of our projects, and also we held video call activites during the festival and we could invite participants from Africa, South America and Asia.

このような展示イベントへの参加は初めてなので、展示資料作りから始めました。高校生のボランティアスタッフのみなさんが手伝ってくれました。

展示は、このような構成です。

フェスティバルを見に来られたみなさんや、JICAの研修生も参加してくれました。

画面の向こう側には、ボランティアとして参加して頂いた各国の皆さんが映っています。特に、現地の青年海外協力隊の皆さんが多数参加して頂きました。

展示会場でのビデオ通話イベントは、スプラタルカとしても初めての経験で、参加者の確保や会場での案内など、多くの課題が見つかりました。

それでも、来場者の方々に我々の活動を知ってもらえる良い機会となったと思っています。

また、このような機会があれば参加したいと思います。

10月22日（「即位礼正殿の儀」の日）に「2019年 小学生 国際こども会議」を無事開催しました。

日本（沖縄県）、インドネシア（ジョグジャカルタ）、台湾（台南市）、マレーシア（ペナン）の4カ国の小学生がスクリーンに一堂に会し、テーマに沿ってお互いの意見を交換しました。

今回のテーマは、「環境のために取り組んでいることを教えて!」（地球にやさしいこと、してますか？）　です。

具体的には、各国からそれぞれ1個の環境に関する取り組みを紹介してもらい、それについて皆で話し合うという会議形式です。地球環境に関する問題は、日常的な「異常気象」や地球温暖化問題、放射能汚染問題、CO2排出問題、プラスチックごみ問題など、既に子供たちにも身近な問題です。

We've held "International Conference for Primary School Students 2019" on October 22 successfully.

The theme is “What are your school or community’s approaches to environmental problems?” (Are you doing something that is kind to the earth?)

Each side brought one topic and discuss together. We expected them to participate discussion actively and exchange ideas and opinions to each other.

会議の始まりは司会のあいさつから。

それぞれ、ちょっと緊張気味のようです。

最初は、学校や地域に関するクイズから。

日本側のクイズは、「学校に設置してあるもの？」　答えは「コンポスト」（アミークス学園）

それぞれの学校からクイズがあり、それに答えたり質問したりしてやり取りします。

次は、本題。それぞれの環境問題についての取り組みです。

まずは日本から。

日本側は、赤土流出問題を取り上げました。サンゴの海に囲まれた沖縄では特に重要な問題です。赤土が流出しないように植物による「グリーンベルト」を作る取り組みを紹介しました。

中高生のボランティアスタッフの皆さんが、会議で出た意見を書き出しています。

他の国からも、それぞれの取り組みが紹介されます。

それぞれの取り組みについて、お互い質問や意見を交換します。

会議は無事終了。「さようなら。また会いましょう！」

会議終了後に、みんなで感想をまとめ、発表します。

みんな、参加してよかった、ということでした。

10月22日（火）に「2019年 小学生 国際こども会議」の第2回事前研修を開催しました。国際会議当日の最後の研修です。

We held the 2nd preparation meeting for "International Children's Conference for Elementary School Students" on October 22.

まずは、ゲームからスタート。

ボランティアスタッフの自己紹介です。中学生、高校生が手伝ってくれます。

参加校の紹介は、本番で行う時間が足りないので、壁に各校（台湾、マレーシア、インドネシア）の紹介写真を掲示しました。

今回は環境についての国際会議なので、グレタさんの国連での演説を聞いてもらいました。

今回も、活発な意見が出ています。

10月12日（土）に「2019年 小学生 国際こども会議」の第1回事前研修を開催しました。

We held the first preparation meeting for "International Children's Conference for Elementary School Students" on October 12.

まずは、いつものようにゲームから。

お互い自己紹介をします。

今日は、ちょっと寂しく4名の参加となりました。

それでも、みんなワークシートにしっかりと意見を準備してくれていたので、たくさんの意見が出てきました。

環境問題といえば、先日国連で演説した高校生のグレタ・トゥーンベリさんについては、知っておいてほしいところです。

日本（沖縄）側としての発表内容も決まったので、さっそく資料の作成にかかります。

イラストも使って分かりやすく紹介します。

研修に来られなかった参加者も含めて、本番では多くの参加者を期待しています。
