　3月15日に、「中学生 地球ミーティング」（日本、インド、フィリピン）の事前研修を開催しました。
　今回のテーマ「差別や偏見から自由になる、いいアイデアは？」は、議論としてはなかなか難しいテーマなので、このテーマについての話し合いを中心に行いました。
　プログラムの概要や、学校紹介・地域紹介、文化交流の実演などについても確認を行いました。実演は、三線の演奏となりました。発表資料は、グーグルスライドを利用します。
　テーマ「差別や偏見から自由になる、いいアイデアは？」については、事前に各自で考えておくように伝え、また参考になりそうなウェブサイトも紹介しておいた後の、話し合いです。
　各自がアイデアを出し合う中で、関連したアイデアや共通のキーワードなどを発展させていくうちに、最終的に2つのアイデアとしてまとまりました。
　ひとつは、学校のイベントとして開催するアイデアです。もうひとつは、アプリとして提供できるというアイデアです。

We held a pre-training session for the "Global Communication for Junior High School Students" (Japan, India, Philippines) on March 15th.
The theme "What is your good idea to get free from discrimination and prejudice?" is a rather difficult topic to discuss, so we focused our discussion on this theme.
We also reviewed the program outline, school and regional introductions, and cultural exchange demonstrations. The demonstration was a performance of the Sanshin (Okinawan stringed instrument). We will be using Google Slides for the presentation materials.
Regarding the theme, we asked each participant to think about it beforehand and also introduced some potentially helpful websites.
As each participant shared their ideas, and developed related ideas and common keywords, we ultimately narrowed it down to two ideas.
One is the idea of ​​holding it as a school event. The other is the idea of ​​providing it as an app.

　2月7日に、「中学生 地球ミーティング」（日本、インド、フィリピン）のスタッフ会議を開催しました。
　今回のテーマ「差別や偏見から自由になる、いいアイデアは？」は、議論としてはなかなか難しいテーマと言えるので、まずはスタッフ間で具体的なアイデアを出してみて、事前研修に備える必要がありました。
　テーマそのものは、中学生のスタッフ側からの提案をもとにしたものです。
　話し合いの中から、具体的なアイデアもいくつか出てきたので、どうやら事前研修でも議論が進められそうです。特に、国や民族や宗教の違いを乗り越えて相互理解を図る工夫が必要だと、全員が改めて納得したところです。
　また、今回のポスターは、マレーシアのタンさんが作成してくれました。

We held the Staff meeting for the "Global Communication for Junior High School Students" (Japan, India, Philippines) on February 7th.
The theme of this event, "What is your good idea to get free from discrimination and prejudice?", can be considered a difficult topic to discuss, so we first had to come up with concrete ideas among the staff in preparation for the pre-training.
The theme itself is based on a proposal from the junior high school student staff.
Several concrete ideas were found during the discussion, and it looks like we will be able to develop the discussion in the pre-training session.
In particular, everyone once again agreed on the need for efforts to promote mutual understanding across differences in country, ethnicity, and religion.

2月5日に、「大学生 地球ミーティング」（日本、タイ、インドネシア）の第5回実行委員会を開催しました。
ポスターも出来上がったので、本格的に募集に入ります。
また、少人数の分科会の詳細も話し合いました。各国から2名参加して6人態勢でグループを作って交流の機会を増やしていく予定です。各グループのリーダーは、実行委員が務めます。人数が揃い次第、順次グループ化する予定です。

On February 5th, we held the 5th Committee meeting for the 'Global Communication' (Japan, Thailand, Indonesia).
The poster has also been completed, so we will start the recruitment in full swing.
We also discussed the details of the small group workshops. Two participants from each country will form groups of six to increase opportunities for interaction. The leaders of each group will be th Committee members. Groups will be formed sequentially as soon as the necessary number of participants is confirmed.

1月6日に、「大学生 地球ミーティング」（日本、フィリピン、マレーシア）の第2回実行委員会を開催しました。
無事、テーマが決まったところです。

テーマ：「グローバル化と自国の伝統の両立」

概要：
　グローバル化が進むなかで、海外の便利なものが自国にもたらされているが、それにより自国の慣習、文化、先人の知恵が含まれる伝統が淘汰される可能性がある。
　以上のような伝統を自国から消してしまうのはとても惜しいものと感じられ、新たな発展への兆しも潰すことになるかもしれない。
　そこで海外の便利な文化、知恵と自国の伝統をどのように両立させていくべきかを考える必要がある。

We could select the theme at the end.

Theme: "How can we find a balance between globalization and traditions?"

Overview:
As globalization spreads, foreign/modern cultures and ideas are entering into every country, but this makes weaken traditional customs and cultures.
Losing these traditions would be regrettable and may reduce future possibilities.
Therefore, it is important to consider the balance between global influences and preservation of various traditions.

1月23日に、「大学生 地球ミーティング」（日本、タイ、インドネシア）の第4回実行委員会を開催しました。
4月25日（土）に開催する予定に合わせた準備について話し合いました。
ポスターも出来上がり、その各国版を今週中に仕上げて、来週から本格的に募集を開始する予定です。
また、分科会の仕組みについても話し合いました。

We held the 4th Committee meeting of the「Global Communication for University Students」(Japan, Thailand, Indonesia) on January 22nd.
We discussed preparations in line with the event scheduled for Saturday, April 25.
The posters have also been completed, and we plan to finish the versions for each country within this week and officially start recruiting participants from next week.
We also discussed the structure of the subcommittee meetings.
